" Date: 3/10/2019 Viewed: Netflix Rewatch Note: I decided to watch this movie on a lazy Sunday afternoon because I haven't seen this movie in nearly 20 years. Not a perfect movie, but I still laughed a whole lot when rewatching this movie. The movie is a pretty good satire on contemporary professional sports. The movie pokes fun on how crazy people are when watching sports and the bullshit that sports corporations will do for money. The movie is better than most people give it credit for. Sure"

“To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this flick but since it was available on  Netflix, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, I didn't care much for it, that's for sure. First of all, I have to admit that I have never been a huge fan of David Zucker's parodies or of South Park but, at least, the concept had some potential. Indeed, if you are not a huge sports fan and even if you are,  you should be aware of the fact that major professional sports have become some huge circuses with some ridiculous amounts of money involved and that the concepts of 'playing' and 'sportsmanship' don't matter that much anymore.
