" DVD- 1hr. 34min. First Viewing Hotel Artemis has an irresistible setup (that, yes, does take mightily from John Wick) and several pieces of genre brilliance, but they don't add up to a wholly satisfying film. While writer/director Drew Pearce has assembled a strong cast of characters, and cast in general, he doesn't really do much with them. There are so many of them in such a short film, that many get short shrift, never quite reaching their potential; with such strong personalities on display"

"First viewing - Jan. 9th It's interesting to me that I never saw a single trailer for Hotel Artemis. "A film that has future cult hit written right through it. During riots in the not-too-distant future, a bank robbery goes wrong and two thieves end up going to Hotel Artemis, a members-only hospital for criminals run by Nurse and her health care professional, Everest. Unfortunately for all, it's the same night that The Wolf King, a huge gangland boss and owner, is on his way. A muddled mix of genres is held together by an energetic cast led by Jodie Foster."
