“To be honest, I didn’t expect much from this flick but, somehow, I still ended up watching the damned thing. At least, it was not worse than its predecessors. On the other hand, I have to admit that I didn’t remember much about them except that they didn’t really impress me at all. However, it was definitely not an improvement either. Indeed, if some of the jokes were actually fairly amusing, most of it was still completely forgettable. On top of that, the plot was just so generic and hardly entertaining and, after 10 mins, I lost most of the interest I might have had at the beginning. Apparently, the plot was also almost identical to the 1st instalment which was rather lazy but, on the other hand, you could argue that all the James Bond flicks pretty much all look alike. I've always enjoyed the Johnny English movies and this one is just as funny as the other two. It doesn't matter about the plot as it really does deliver on laughs throughout. Every scene contains some slapstick shenanigans. This is the movie's strength. There are segments in the movie such as a scene i"
"A sequel no one asked for as Rowan Atkinson returns as the bumbling British spy, brought out of retirement to track down a computer hacker holding the British to ransom. While some of the set pieces are amusing as individual moments, as part of this they become a bore. Atkinson is a funny man but this material is pathetic and even Emma Thompson cannot save this mess. Time to put Johnny English to rest."
