First, let me clear you something that I'm not talking about remakes, and the story not had to be the same. The same theme set in a different timeline or the era. So, according to that period where the movie set, everything will be completely different than the other version of the story.
For example, we know Noah's ark story which is set in the ancient time, but the modern version is '2012' and not exactly the same like two pair of animals kind of stuff.
