HAPPY NEW YEAR

Originally broadcast: 1 January 2005
Directed by: Martin Dennis
Written by: Richard Curtis & Paul Mayhew-Archer
Geraldine gets a ticket for speed dating for her 40th birthday, Hugo offers to impregnate her, and the vicar tries to encourage the villagers to help towards making poverty history.

"Oh look Hettie, you appear to have left your bottom at home!"
HOLY GODIVA 2 - ONION JACK 2
TOTAL: *4
*We felt that this episode was just wrong, it had a funny speed dating part basically bookended by an appeal. This is inappropriate for this kind of show, it simply doesn't fit. If not for the speed dating element, it may have been scored even lower. We have no issue with sketches for good causes, but this was supposed to be a proper episode, totally wrong.
