Heart and Souls (1993)
There is no hiding the fact that I am hopelessly in love with Robert Downey Jr. And I loved him in this movie as well. But at the end of the day, the whole film was just "meh".

Bachelorette (2012)
So, this was bascially the female Hangover. Kind of.
I would watch a bit, then go away and come back days later. I finally, FINALLY finished it, just to be done with it.
I love Isla Fisher(she was probably the only reason that I finished it at all), but other than that I was not a fan of the cast.

Thor: The Dark World (2013)
This was so much better than the first movie. I honestly was not a fan of it's predecessor. And I like Thor with Sif.
Lydia's rating:
Some of the scenes were hitting a little too close to home for me, so I didn't actually finish this, but instead read the synopsis online for the last 30 minutes or so.
But I still think that this is incredibly underrated.

Being John Malkovich (1999)
If you're into extremely tangled and(frankly) fucked up, love triangles, you are going to eat this one up! It was a tiny bit out there for me. I'm all for quirky, but this was just a little bit too surreal for my taste.
Lydia's rating:
The English Teacher (2013)
I liked this flick. True, it isn't for everyone, but I enjoyed it. This is a topic that is not often touched, but they did it well.
Lydia's rating:
I know that this is a kid's show, but it felt a little all over the place. It felt more like a compilation of television episodes as opposed to a feature film of Recess.
Lydia's rating:
What Maisie Knew (2013)
Now THIS was a good Netflix find! I think that most parents forget what children hear and pick up on. This dived into that head-on and did a wonderful job!
Through the entire movie i held back the urge to scream at the incompetent parents. Julianna Moore did a wonderful job at making us hate her character. And the father was just as infuriating. They didn't deserve Maisie in the least!
Alexander Skarsgรฅrd did great, as did the adorable Onata Aprile. Wonderful child performance.

Lydia's rating:
Re-watch from childhood, and I definitely enjoyed it more a an adult. Quirky and cute, but still average in my book.
Lydia's rating:
Re-watch with parents.
I had to up my rating from 5 to 7. I obviously wasn't paying attention the first go round.

Robot & Frank (2012)
Re-watch with the parents.
I knew that my mom would love it as she does home care for an elderly couple. And I was right. She did.
Rating stayed the same.

Lydia's rating:
I think that the writing for this film was poor, even though I love the actors I felt like it was a waste of talent.

I might finish them, I'm not sure.
My movie watching has slowed down a bit because I've been indulging in so many series. But I'm going to try and catch up this month! So many movies, so little time.
