Manhunter (1986)
A great movie and Brian Cox is far superior as Hannibal Lecter in this than Hopkins in any of the other movies
Anyway several good scenes, the reporter who is captured by The Tooth Fairy and strapped to a wheelechair and set alight, the end shoot-out with In A Garda Vidda playing, or even the blind girls visit to the Tiger ...BUT IMHO there is one scene which just sums up the movie...Its a scene where Lecter is in prison and needs to contact the Tooth Fairy so he asks for the prison phone which he short circuits with some chewing gum foil and proceeds to get through to an operator - he then pretends he is disabled and gets patched through to the detective's doctor or rather the secretary and then he charms the girl to getting her to reveal the detective's address - totally chilling as its so subtle yet utterly believable

Okaruto (2009)
I was split between 1 of 2 scenes - the bizarre cheap and tacky Lovecraftian "hell" ending or this...the lady following alerts the police not quite in time and gets caught directly in an explosion

this clip has both scenes

Its very hard to pick out just one moment in one of the greatest brutal horrific flicks in recent years - I could opt for the newborn porn clip BUT thats too easy or the beheading of the "whore"...
for me its when Milos and another man who is hooded are fucking 2 covered people who are also hooded...their hoods are removed and its revealed that Milos his fucking his son, and the other man is fucking Milo's wife seriously messed up

I think this film had one of the best jumpscares due to excellent misdirection from Steven Speilberg...yes...its the part where the boat that has been sunken by "Bruce" the shark is investigated and a head pops out...I recall several girls in the cinema literally jumped out of their seats
Though Jaws is a great movie its a testimony to really luck and fate determining success than Speilberg's talents as a director --- a long story but SS revealed he wanted to show the shark a LOT and only budget and mechanical failure prevented him from doing so...One of the big appeals of Jaws was simply the build up with the ominous 2 note music and NOT seeing the shark
anyways a nice clip....of the "we need a bigger boat" scene
