Films based mainly on Sheridan Le Fanu's classic 1871 novella, Carmilla. These vampires are cold, viscous and, well, lesbian.

These vampires are fresh and full of angst. These are the vampires without a cause.

Yep, these monsters are actually good guys.

Films based mainly on Richard Matheson's 1954 novel I Am Legend. These vampires may not be true vampires at all. They are diseased and pitiful. But, they are monsters all the same.

Freelance Vampires. Born alone, they work alone. These vampires dabble in all types of vampire tropes. They have not archtype and yet are an archtype in themselves.
