Part of the
British Comedy Collection

This is a variety show rather than a comedy show, but there is enough comedy on offer for us to include it in our comedy collection.

The Wheeltappers and Shunters Social Club (Affiliated) is a fictional working men's club in the North of England. The concert chairman keeps the regulars informed of the latest committee meetings, while the compere tells gags and sings songs between the many turns that take to the stage... from musical acts to magicians, from comedians to exotic dancers, from jugglers to balancing acts... it's all happening.
