Land of a Thousand Dances was written and first recorded by Chris Kenner in 1962. The na na na na lyric roll was introduced by Mexican-American pop group Cannibal & the Headhunters in their 1965 version. In 1966, the Wilson Pickett's version reached the n. 1 in the Billboard R&B chart.

This is the French edition of Brenda Lee's My Whole World Is Falling Down, released as a 45rpm single in 1963 (n. 8 in the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart) and included in her LP By Request in 1964.
Sylvie Vartan's Si je chante reached the n. 1 on the French chart in December 1963 and in January and February 1964.

Scopitone was a juke-box that featured a 16 mm. projector and a 26-inch color screen, produced by French company Cameca. The first model (ST16) was introduced at the Foire de Paris in May 1960 and distributed from 1961.
