The Big Kahuna (2000)

A movie set mostly in one room and with three characters. The dialogue is key here and it's mostly not that interesting. I don't really care too much about the characters and the story goes in an uninteresting direction. It seemed like a creative set up but ultimately unsuccessful - For a more successful one-room movie, try Linklater's "Tape".

It's tough watching a Ben Affleck movie, it's not tough watching a Sandra Bullock movie... so this one gave me mixed feelings. The cinematography in this was terrible, the writing was generic, the story is fine.

I'm not sure how an the highest echelon crew can make such a messy and not-great film. Scorsese has all his best on this project and it's somehow a disappointment.
I think the acting was their biggest issue. I'm not sure why they chose who they did.
