" Spike Lee's take on the "Son of Sam" murders in New York City during the summer of 1977 centering on the residents of an Italian-American South Bronx neighborhood who live in fear and distrust of one another. In 1977, the summer belonged to Sam. With critics giving the film mixed reviews, and the movie doing just ok In Theatres."

" "Since when does your hairstyle determine whether or not you're a fuckin' killer?" Written by Spike Lee, Victor Colicchio and Michael Imperioli Music by Terence Blanchard Cinematography by Ellen Kuras Editing by Barry Alexander Brown "
"La película que en realidad menos recomiendo. Se basa en los asesinatos cometidos por el asesino en serie “El hijo de Sam”. Ojalá se hubiera centrado en eso y no en personajes secundarios y su patética vida sexual. Solo te la recomiendo si quieres ver una película algo experimental y si eres fan de Spike Lee."

" Date: 5/23/2020 Viewed: Blu-Ray Re-Watch Note: I haven't seen this movie in years and decided to rewatch it with my family because my sister and her boyfriend never saw this movie before. I think this movie holds up pretty well and it is Spike Lee's most underrated movie in my opinion. The movie may not be 100% faithful to the real-life events that happened back in 1977, but the story is still pretty well told in my opinion. This movie has a good cast of characters and the actors did a great"
