In 2016, Eddie Murphy tried again to make a come-back with ‘Mr. Church’ but even though his performance was praised, the movie itself was a critical flop and the dammed thing was barely seen when it was released. "First viewing - Feb. 17th Life is a solidly entertaining film that accurately reflects the relationship between Black people and the police in America while trying to keep a sense of humor about the whole thing. Watching Murphy and Lawrence play off one another is a treat, and the rest of the supporting cast is full of lovable goofballs. It's not great, but it is worth a look and I'm glad I finally caught up with it."
