Its story follows Homer Wells, who lives in a World War II era Maine orphanage run by a doctor who trained him, and his journey after leaving the orphanage. Critics gave it great reviews, as did audiences as well. Nominated for multiple awards, with many saying it’s one of Michael Caine’s best films."
