Soda Diary

I have no idea what Red Pop is but I definitely like it. It could be a mix of any red fruit (cherry, strawberry, raspberry) but it also has a vague taste of candy apple coating. I think its a nice flavor that's smooth and just shy of being too sweet.

Has an odd, almost marshmallow taste to it that wasn't entirely appreciated. Its refreshing and has the right amount of carbonation and whatnot but I can't completely get past that flavor.

An interesting spicy flavor and very crisp. Can't really pinpoint what it tastes like but I do like it, though it may be a little bit too much.

Smells like a lemon-scented cleaning product and kind of tastes like it smells. I actually did like it though.

A somewhat odd flavor that leaves me rather parched. Tastes like one of those "made with natural flavors" sodas that always manage to taste even more fake than a regular soda.

Tastes like a pretty standard cream soda but a bit watery. Good in big gulps but less than satisfactory afterwards.

Tastes exactly like what I expected which was that peach drink Tim Horton's used to sell which means its decent.

I typically dislike strawberry flavored anything but I love this soda. Another nice, crisp soda from Jones and I think this might be the best thing I've had from them. They really do well with the fruity flavors.

Tastes exactly like Dr. Pepper but with less flavor. So its still pretty good.

Tastes exactly like that Jolly Rancher soda I had earlier except not nearly as thick and syrupy. Even toned down this flavor is still nauseatingly sweet but this is definitely tolerable.

I remember joking as a kid that Pepsi just tasted like flat Coke but this legitimately tastes like a bottle of Coke I left out over night. I don't mind it actually.

The first instant of the sip feels overpowering but it quickly dies down and settles into something very accessible. Turns out to be a very delightful, though conventional, cherry cola flavor. That initial punch that quickly mellows out makes this a really dynamic soda without being too over the top.

Really off-putting, overly sweet, brown sugar taste. Really syrupy.

I have no idea what a tamarind is but I can't tell if it tastes like raisins or tea. Either way its too sweet to really get behind.

I don't know much about grapefruit but I like this soda a lot, though it dries the mouth out a good bit. Regardless, the flavor is nice.

This might be the best Jarritos soda I've had yet. Mandarin being a seemingly mild flavor, the carbonation gives the exact right amount of kick to what could have easily been a lackluster flavor or too sour or acidic but this happens to be a perfectly balanced beverage and is pretty damn amazing.

I predicted this would be better than the melon flavor and thankfully I was correct. Even the wonky smell doesn't ruin it. Has pretty much none of the draw backs of the other flavor and mangoes taste nice and definitely work in this beverage.

Literally tastes like orange juice and cream soda which for some reason tastes alright once every 5 sips, but otherwise its just sour and unpleasant.

Every Jarritos soda is delicious and this is no exception. Not at that Tahitian Treat level but I can't complain about anything happening here.

Expectedly horrendous.

Amazing in that it smells and tastes like both peanuts and jelly simultaneously and distinctly separate from each other. Even the color is a mix of purple and brown. In terms of technical soda making, this is a marvel but it tastes like shit.

Suffers from the same issue most root beers have in that it tastes somewhat like toothpaste, but once you get past that its solid.

A more subtle flavor than I was expecting but its still really yummy. More aftertaste or a stronger presence in general would have been nice though.

A tangy, almost sour grape flavor that's not overly powerful. A very nice tasting and feeling soda that's unfortunately not especially thirst-quenching.

Carbonated apple juice. Not good.

It tastes like black licorice, which is really cool and fresh but it just dries your throat out instantly. Maybe putting it over ice would help.

This is an interesting beverage. Not only does it have a cream soda taste but its slightly thicker than a regular soda as well. Unfortunately I'm not really into the melon flavor presented and am not huge on cream soda in the first place. Also it smells pretty bad and it makes you instantly parched. I have the mango flavor as well and I think that might make a better match.

I was on a roll with apple sodas but the streak has ended. This almost tasted like an alcohol it was really weird. I had one glass and left the 2L bottle in my hotel.

I think I remember this tasting like sprite mixed with water. Not great but pretty refreshing.

The only other ginger ale I've had is Canada Dry so its a little hard for me to judge this soda genre. I definitely prefer this to Canada Dry though. Its a less intense flavor that's still very sweet and full and doesn't burn your mouth like the previously mentioned ginger ale.

The cane sugar makes it taste very sweet but it suits the flavor a lot and is really delicious. I love it.

It tastes like bubblegum for one, and for two its not even good at that.

I expected to not enjoy a banana soda because of what artificial banana always taste like, and that is what this is. Definitely drinkable but I will not be returning to this soda.

This soda ranks of that awful artificial green apple smell but fortunately tastes not like that. A very tasty soda that isn't too heavy like I somewhat expected it to be. Big downside is the watery aftertaste that, though making it a bit more refreshing, is just downright disappointing after every sip.

This is the strangest soda I've ever encountered. I don't know what "sorrel" is but it kind of tastes like a mouthful of potpourri. That being said though, I don't really dislike it. The flavor is perfectly balanced and is spicy but not at all dry tasting. Despite initially being repelled by the unusual taste, this is definitely growing on me.

Says it's a "cider", the back says it contains "lemon" flavoring so why the hell does it taste and smell exactly like bubblegum? Fortunately its a more subdued flavour than one would expect and is actually pretty refreshing.

An apple soda that thankfully avoids the generic "green apple" flavoring. Very crisp taste that isn't too sweet or strong and it legit smells like fresh apples. I can't imagine a better apple soda.

Tastes almost exactly like limeade. Strange but pretty good.

Tastes exactly like a Watermelon Jolly Rancher and for some reason that makes it terrible. So sweet that it always tastes warm.

A nice light flavor that's crisp and tangy. Would probably be really good over ice.

Interesting tangy flavor that's nice and light but I still can't say I especially like it.

Tastes like flat Mountain Dew and Mountain Dew was already the worst of the big-name lemon-limes.

Pretty much what I expected but a bit too syrupy.

Resembles 7-UP too much to really stand out on its own.
