101 movies I would take along to desert island

Self-explanatory... with couple things to note:

This list along with the 5 star movies list gives a pretty good cross-section to my tastes in cinema. I have been watching movies as a hobby for a decade or so now and scholastically maybe five years or so. With latter I mean, that it has become more than a hobby. Such is not the case with music and literature, which I of course enjoy a great deal still.

These movies are picked here, not necessary because they represent the crème de la crème of the cinema, but because these films have special place in my heart and/or they can be rewatched endlessly and still be enjoyable.

Of course many of these titles can be found from my 5 star movies list also, but the reasons for the lists are different.

List is not in any particular order. Will be arranged alphabetically or chronologically at some point... maybe.
