Description: It's been one year since the failure of the Black Rebellion and the supposed death of Zero. Britannia has assigned Area 11 a "correctional education" status, where Elevens are made an example of by brute force, to try to prevent any future uprisings and suppress rebellious thoughts. Unsuspecting high school student Lelouch, oblivious to his rebellious past as Zero, stumbles upon a scheme on his life and the life of a mysterious woman known as C.C., who reveals to him his forgotten purpose and his "true" self. Destroying his assailants and declaring himself Zero once again, Lelouch sets out to finish what he s ... (more)

"R2 is the second season and continues on directlyish from the end of the first. As I said in my review of season 1, it's not a good idea to watch this season first cause you'll be extremely confused and won't enjoy it. This season is just as well written as the first. You will be crying a lot more in this season, but it is still very funny, with some romance, twists, turns, and action. It will also answer many of the questions that were unanswered in the first season and has several huge revea"

My Anime Journal of 2016 (13 tv items)

"Number of episodes: 25 A second part of the Code Geass is just as amazing as the first one, if not even better. The ending is amazing, character development is off the charts, and everything that I had to say about the first one also applies here. It' an amazing revenge story that reminded me in some aspects of The Count of Monte Cristo and Roger Zelazny's Amber Chronicles. After finishing the first part, I dare you to try and not watch this one. It's also a recommendation. "
