Movies and stuff

A largely underrated thriller in the same vein as the best Hitchcock's.
Well, as I'm not the usual fan of Zemeckis stuff, I was a bit reluctant to watch this movie, to say the least. Finally it emerged I was completely caught up by this schizophrenic, demoniac scenario. A strong and precise psychologic picture of a mid-life suburban couple in a deep crisis.

Before going into his motion-capture adventure which would last more than 5 years, resulting in 3 movies, all of them with some mitigated results, Robert Zemeckis made this thriller. Basically, it is pretty straight-forward affair which was sometimes compared to Hitchcok's work, even though it never reached that level.
