*I thought the first two were just okay. Not bad, but not great.
*This one however looked to be really good and interesting.
*Besides I tend to get a kick out of Adam Wingard.
*Simon Barrett also joins him in writing practically all his movies.

"31.3. 2024 Why was this silly horror film made? "Blair Witch" is just one giant plot hole. I don't expect plots in horror films to be perfect or anything, but there are limits on how much stupidity I can take. The film doesn't add anything to the original. It ignores the sequel made in 2000, which is understandable because so did many viewers as well. “Even though this sequel didn’t get much love when it was released, since I always had a weak spot for ‘The Blair Witch Project’, I thought I might as well check it out. In fact, after all these years, I still haven’t watch ‘Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2’ but I should definitely check it out at some point, just to see how terrible it actually is. Anyway, to be honest, I don’t think this new sequel was bad at all after all. Indeed, it turned out to be a rather faithful follow-up to the classic horror feature, even though it has been a while since I have seen such nauseating found-footage scenes.
