I have been eager to see this movie for awhile. I am not exactly sure why, but from the trailer it looked intriguing. It's a little bit found footage, but for the most part it is filmed normally. I find it interesting that the professor tries to explain everything that is going on with science, but everyone else knows it's something far more dangerous. "...that flaming demon face at the end. Best scare was the clap (to sync the audio and film footage) that the movie cut to suddenly. So many shitty jump scares like clapping, water pipe breaking and an idiot jumping to a window and making stupid noise. Half a star rating is mostly because of asshole professor Jared Harris."
