“This is actually a pretty entertaining movie, flawed it is, but mildly enjoyable. It is yet another case when I have disagreed with the critics, who dismiss it as mindless, nonsensical and pointless. Not true, yes the story is convoluted, it does drag at times and the script is weak at times, but it does have great action and some well chosen locations. As Lara Croft, Angelina Jolie does what she can, and she is fine, even in films with her in that are mediocre at best, she is usually one of the redeeming qualities. " Director: Simon West Starring: Angelina Jolie, Jon Voight, Iain Glen, Daniel Craig, Richard Johnson, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Noah Taylor, Chris Barrie and Leslie Phillips English aristocrat Lara Croft is skilled in hand-to-hand combat and in the middle of a battle with a secret society. The shapely archaeologist moonlights as a tomb raider to recover lost antiquities and meets her match in the evil Powell, who's in search of a powerful relic."

" - Rewatched If this film could get any dumber than it already is, humanity as we know it would instantly collapse. Not that I've expected it to be clever or anything, but there's a stupidity line that you shouldn't cross. This film didn't only cross that, it completely smashed through it. That being said, I'm sure that there are a lot of people who will find enjoyment in this dumb, cheesy and poorly acted mess of a film. That's not me however, as I found it to be dreadfully boring and annoying."
