"First viewing - Sept. 7th The Mechanic routinely earns praise from directors I admire, so when I found it on Showbox I settled in to see what it was like. Overall I enjoyed it, but mainly because the back half of the film is so strongly composed that it makes you somewhat forgive the flaws of the first half.
