"First viewing - Apr. 18th Shudder Oh hey, now I see what influenced Benedetta the most. Couldn't pass up the opportunity to see The Devils when I noticed Shudder added it, as it's one of those films that's more often talked about than available to watch. And yes, it's very well made all around, plus undoubtedly & justifiably controversial at the time of its release. I appreciated the overall exploration of Christianity & its witch hunts, & the cast is mostly excellent. Ultimately though it's on"
