" First Viewing Viewing Date: January 29th Via: Apple TV Plot: Dave is deaf, and Wally is blind. They witness a murder, but it was Dave who was looking at her, and Wally who was listening. Rating: 7.4/10 Why Did I Watch It? I've been meaning to check out the comedies with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor for some time, and decided to just go for it. This seemed like a good starting point considering the solid reputation and reviews."

The film was released in the United States on May 12, 1989. Released to a mixed to negative critical receptio"

"5/1/17 Having not seen this in years, I sadly came to the conclusion that is was not as good as I remember it. Wilder and Pryor are a great double act but this relies on one basic joke (one's deaf, one's blind) and is stretched to annoyance for over 90 minutes. Some gags are amusing but otherwise the laughs are lacking and you long for Stir Crazy."
