Initial Thought: I never saw a trailer for this, but I did read the plot from my movie theater for the movies we play. This one sounded really intriguing. It also helped that basically everyone who saw it was absolutely astonished by it.

Siento en Petzold el gusto por contar una buena historia, escogiendo su punto de vista a la altura de las bajas pasiones (Nelly ve llegar a Johnny desde la buhardilla) y la trágica historia de Lene.

The Best Films of 2010s (50 movies items)

" The structure of oneself, and how to surpass trauma. Tough topics are handled in the most beautiful way in this hearthbreaking film. The ruins of Germany after the war are reflected on the people that are more or less ruins themselves. Technically speaking the structure of the whole narrative is pure brilliance."

Nyt huomasin rakastavani aivan kaikkea tässä elokuvassa. Vertigomainen mysteeri käännetään nurin niin kauniisti tavalla, joka asettaa katselemaan sen hahmoja - ja sitä kautta myös tietenkin koko ihmisyyttä - mielenkiintoisesta näkökulmasta.
