" Director: Elia Kazan His 17th Movie. My 11th movie watched from the director. Kazan's earlier film, even if already his 17th, shows good directing control and ability to make a long, wordy book, into a digestible movie. The characters come to life effectively and the production as a whole is impressive for its time.
