Sweet movie about a widower who ends up adopting a slightly odd child. When I saw the trailer and title of this movie it made me think of K-Pax with Kevin Spacey. Although there is a pretty strong cast in this movie, they can't quite pull off the suspense and magic that Spacey did in K-Pax. There are some scenes that get you teased into thinking, "OK, maybe there is something to this martian claim."

The romantic drama Martian Child stars John Cusack as a recently widowed science fiction writer who forms an unlikely family with a close friend (Amanda Peet) and a young boy he adopts that claims to be from Mars.
