I have been waiting for awhile for this to come out. So imagine my excitement when my theater got it. I watched it as soon as I got out. I have heard of Jeremy Saulnier before. He has written Murder Party (a different and comical sort of horror that was okay, but not like crazy good) and Blue Ruin which I need to go ahead and watch. This has a little bit of a slow build up. Then once things get in... read more

To be honest, I wasn't really sure what to expect from this movie but since I kept hearing some pretty good things about this flick, I was quite eager to check it out. Well, pretty much like with 'Blue Ruin', Jeremy Saulnier's previous directing effort, I have to admit that it didn't know anything about this story before watching the damned thing, expect that it might be dealing with neo-nazis, bu... read more

La pretensión de que el background de punk duro y violento, le da un sentido adicional a la historia, se cae de saque. En un thriller violento más, con bueno y malos y perros y nothing else.

Description: Down on their luck punk rockers The Ain’t Rights are finishing up a long and unsuccessful tour, and are about to call it quits when they get an unexpected booking at an isolated, run-down club deep in the backwoods of Oregon. What seems merely to be a third-rate gig escalates into something much more sinister when they witness an act of violence backstage that they weren’t meant to see. Now trapped backstage, they must face off against the club’s depraved owner, Darcy Banker (Patrick Stewart), a man who will do anything to protect the secrets of his nefarious enterprise. But while Darcy and his henchmen think the band will ... (more)

" A traveling band show up at a last minute  gig, hoping to make up some scratch to restock their dwindling funds. However, once they arrive, they come to discover that the show is for neo-Nazi punk enthusiasts. Which as we all know, is a situation that isn't going to end well, even under the most "normal" circumstances. But if the situation is in that of a horror movie, well then, it's pretty much a guaranteed deal that the band members are scewed.  A hate themed death-punk thriller which de"

Indeed, he really doesn't like exposition scenes which turns his movies into some kind of jigsaw puzzles and, slowly by slowly, we figure out what's going on which is much more rewarding then being spoon-fed every piece of information as it usual happens in your Hollywood production. Furthermore, even if you learn basically nothing abo” read more
