"Gone baby gone" is an excellent piece of filmmaking. I thought it was one of the best films of 2007, and I highly enjoyed it. The character development is excellent. Casey Affleck, put on a great acting show, and did not disappoint. His acting might be better than his brothers. Morgan Freeman was great in this film as well. "First viewing - June 5th I enjoyed Gone Baby Gone, though perhaps "enjoyed" isn't quite the correct word to use given all the time spent with such dark characters. I thought the story was well told, the cast was very very good, and I appreciated the ways it played out against my expectations. I also give it points for having the courage to look at police corruption within the context of the story its telling. It's absolutely worth a look, though I think one viewing is enough."
