The Evolution of Jason Statham“To be honest, I have to admit that I was never a fan of this franchise but I thought I might as well check this new instalment (in fact, another sequel has already been released in the mean time so I guess I’m still a little bit behind). Well, even though the makers did their best to convince the viewers and maybe themselves that they would deliver something surprising, I thought the end-result was terribly repetitive and predictable after all. Sure, I have to admit that there were a couple of scenes during which I thought ‘Wow.. that was actually quite insane…’ but you are talking about maybe 2 mins of screen time for a movie running almost 150 mins. Yes, this is a guilty pleasure, but there are things that can ruin even those, like a Cardi B appearance, Jon Cena infiltrating another franchise, and taking the franchise to space.
