Since I could remember, i have wanted to see this movie. Hearing nothing bad about it, I put it on my to own list quite a long time ago. I recently aquired it for a good price off ebay and got to watch it this weekend... What a sucess! Directed by Stuart Gordon and produced by Charles band, this film takes the subjects of toys and/or dolls gone bad like Full Moon Legend Charles Band likes to do an... read more

Movies I watched in March 2019 (30 movies items)

" Date: 3/6/2019 Viewed: Amazon Prime Rewatch Note: I haven't seen this movie since I was 6 or 7 on HBO. It's a pretty good movie with cool special effects and a creepy atmosphere going for it. This movie feels like a haunted house movie, but with killer dolls. I always like that the movie felt like it was done in the little kid's point of view of the movie. No one believes the little girl in this movie that killer dolls are on the lose other than the fat man child in the movie. I do recommend "

TDcore's Horror Journal 2018: Pt. 3 (50 movies items)

" This could really be seen as the beginning of Charles Band's obsession with producing/directing "killer doll" flicks. And many connections can be drawn between this and the infamous "Puppet Master" series. Luckily, it's enough of it's own film to stand by itself, and cult favorite director, Stuart Gordon, adds his steady hand to the proceedings. It's an incredibly short film, but somehow it's brief runtime feels perfect, making sure there's no filler and no time for the film to become boring. "
