Initial Thought: Oh my gosh! I have been waiting for this to come out forever! I've been excited about this since day one. The trailer only heightened my excitement. I haven't been able to check it out on release day, but now I finally have a little free time. I'm so excited. No more time to waste!

I wasn't really sure what to expect from this movie but Nick, my step-son, was quite eager to check it out. Eventually, I really had a hard time to connect with the whole thing. " DVD- 1hr. 28min. First Viewing A great idea that wasn't thoroughly thought out, Cooties strains it's talented cast in an often annoying and shrill film that mistakes chaos for comedy. There are a few funny bits, the idea is so goofy that it couldn't be completely unfunny, but they're spread so thin (or used so often) that they lose impact. "

" I'll freely admit that it's possible I gave this film more credit than it deserves as far as its star rating goes, but I had such a blast the whole time I watched it that I'm more willing than most to let its flaws slide. The events of this film had me laughing so hard and often that it takes home the prize as my favorite comedy of the year, but then the horror elements work well enough that that's not all it is. I have no doubt this one has high re-watch value."
