An average movie

 I wasn't really sure what to expect from this movie but Nick, my step-son, was quite eager to check it out. Eventually, I really had a hard time to connect with the whole thing. I don’t know, maybe, I wasn't in the right mood when I watched it. Basically, it felt like watching 'The Walking Dead' but, this time, as if it had been written as a comedy and, so, even though you see a lot of astrocity, you are actually supposed to laugh. Maybe, the fact that they made the victims of this virus some very young kids didn’t help either. Indeed, the big concept of this movie is that the zombies where some children at school and the teachers had to fight for their lifes. So, it is basically some kind of a satirical joke about the fact that school is hell for the teachers and the students are the actual monsters who should be put down. Sure, I understood all that but, while it was sometimes fairly amusing,  it was almost uncomfortable watching them smashing the head of some kids, even if they were some zombies. To conclude,  even though it didn’t really work for me, I still think it was a decent watch and I guess it is worth a look, at least, if you like the genre.
