"A dire sequel to the joyfully self-indulgent original has Burt Reynolds and the star cast going through the motions again, only with more slapstick Road Runner style comedy that often looks pathetic. Even the inclusion of Frank Sinatra cannot lift the film. It passes the time but if you are a fan of the 1981 film, then best to ignore this and move on. The outtakes at the end of the film manage to save this from being a complete disaster."
