Real Steel (2011)
Champions aren't born. They're made.
Story/Writing: ★★☆ (2.5 / 5)
Acting: ★★☆ (2.5 / 5)
Visuals: ★★★ (3 / 5)
Soundtrack: ★★ (2 / 5)
Overall: ★★☆ (2.5 / 5)
Pretty cliched, and mostly laughable. The CG robots looked alright though, I guess. And the soundtrack is mostly just popular radio tunes, which I just wasn't digging.
Dig the life fantastic.
Story/Writing: ★★★★ (4 / 5)
Acting: ★★★☆ (3.5 / 5)
Visuals: ★★★★☆ (4.5 / 5)
Soundtrack: ★★★★ (4 / 5)
Overall: ★★★★ (4 / 5)
Hollywood Boulevard (1976) (1976)
The street where starlets are made!
Story/Writing: ★★★ (3 / 5)
Loose story, about a wannabe star, tied together with numerous clips (usually action scenes, and stunts) from other Corman owned films. The original material that is here though, is laced with some funny lines.
Acting: ★★★ (3 / 5)
The acting is intentionally b-grade, but so is everything else in this movie. Mary Woronov is great though. I always enjoy her.
Visuals: ★★★ (3 / 5)
Nothing too great here in terms of cinematography or camera work. And when there are special effects, they're usually from another film. I liked the fact that it was spliced together from other films though.
Soundtrack: ★★ (2 / 5)
Not much here in terms of a soundtrack. I'm guessing it's all library music.
Overall: ★★★ (3 / 5)
If you don't like schlocky Corman productions, you won't enjoy this. It's pointless, cheesy, low budget fun. It's also one of Joe Dante's, as well as Allan Arkush's first directorial efforts, so if you like Dante, or Arkush, you might want to give it a watch.

Overall: ★★★☆ (3.5 / 5)
Interesting little documentary about George Romero, with some behind the scenes footage from Dawn of the Dead. There are also some short interviews with Tom Savini, Michael Gornick, and Richard P. Rubinstein, among others. Worth a watch, if you like Romero.
The Golden Child (1986)
Eddie Murphy Is The Chosen One.
Story/Writing: ★★★ (3 / 5)
Acting: ★★★ (3 / 5)
Visuals: ★★★ (3 / 5)
Soundtrack: ★★★ (3 / 5)
Overall: ★★★ (3 / 5)
Maybe I'm just too easily amused, but I thought this movie had it's moments. Not the best of Murphy's movies, but it's a fun little 80s action comedy. I think the scene with the animated dancing Pepsi can was what sold it for me.
For All Mankind (1989)
From 1968 till 1972, twenty-four human beings went to the moon. Their journey lives as the ultimate adventure story.

Acting: N/A

This is, obviously, a W.I.P. (Work In Progress), and will be until 2013.
A list of the films I've watched in 2012. I have only included films that I have never previously watched, or haven't watched all the way through. Re-watched films won't be on here. The order of the list is the order in which I watched them, with the most recent on the top.
I am going to try to briefly comment on each movie I watch. I am no film expert or professional critic, these are just my opinions/observations. Sorry for my poor writing and punctuation; I don't write much. I suppose this will be good practice.
