I think this is one of the best horror movies. Also one of my all time favorites. I like it so much. Still gives me the creeps.

Papa Carpenter's bigest and badest movie. Soundtrack is awesome. Director's way to create suspense is great. I think this movie is bit underrated.



" I dunno what the hell's in there, but it's weird and pissed off, whatever it is."

Wes Craven's fine work of art. This movie remaind me from my childhood. I was so afraid of Freddy that I almost couldn't sleep. That's why this movie is third on my list!

Freddy also can come behind tree like no one else.



"Come to Freddy."

Stanley Kubrick is master of cinema. And this film proves his talent. I don't like all of his work, but The Shinig realy gets me. Scary as HELL! And also on of the best Stephen King adaptation.



"Come play with us, Danny."

I know that many don't like David Cronenberg. Still I like his work. The Fly is very good remake. It brings a nasty vision of director closer to the mainstream in a good way. Works for me!



"Be afraid. Be very afraid."

I don't like John Landis. I think his is overrated. But I can't help it. This movie is awesome. It brings werewolves to a new era. And it also contains the best werewolf transformation. Almost 30 years has gone by, and the transformation haven't old a day.



"Beware the moon..."

This movie has been criticized of it's animal killings. Beyond that there is much more. I agree that it's cheap trick kill animals to make gore. I don't like it, but otherwise this film brings powerful message of mankinds way to control and judge things they don't understand.



"I wonder who the real cannibals are."

I just like when Arnold is a bad guy. He playes that role perfectly. This movie is so much more than action/sci-fi film. First Terminator still rocks hardest.



"The hardest thing is deciding what I should tell you and what not to. Well, anyway, I've got a while yet before you're old enough to understand the tapes. They're more for me at this point... to help get it all straight. Should I tell you about your father? That's a tough one. Will it change your decision to send him here... knowing? But if you don't send Kyle, you could never be. God, you can go crazy thinking about all this... I suppose I'll tell you... I owe him that. And maybe it'll be enough if you know that in the few hours we had together we loved a lifetime's worth. "

Arnold Schwarzenegger's first big film and highly underrated. This movie started barbarian invasion. Still nobody doesn't think this is a good movie. I think it's one of Arnold's best. Only first two Terminators are better.



"For no one - no one in this world can you trust. Not men, not women, not beasts. This you can trust."

One of the 80's hidden gems. Sam Neill and Isabelle Adjani performances are best of the decade. This is one master piece that you don't wanna miss!



"I can't exist by myself because I'm afraid of myself. I create my own evil."

Jim Jarmusch is a very good indie director. Down by Law represent best of his work. It's also funny buddy movie. If you can stand Roberto Benigni's over the top performance, then you will enjoy your time with this movie.



"It is a sad and beautiful world."

Solid performance by Harrison Ford. Usually he not that good. In my opinion he's never been this good before or after Blade Runner. Still Rutger Hauer blows the bank. His role is just perfect. This movie deliveres a very good "neo noir" feeling.



"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain. Time to die. "

Another Hauer film on my list. I like this a lot. It has very good atmosphere. Once again Hauer's performance is crazy but cool.



"You wanna know what happens to an eyeball when it gets punctured? Do you got any idea how much blood jets out of a guy's neck when his throat's been slit?"

In this film Joe Spinell proves that his the man. Maniac is very good dissertation of madness. Lustig's haunnting direction and Savini's over the edge efects just blows the fucking mind!



"Now you tell me what I should do. I heard about it, I always do. I can't go out for a minute. It's impossible. Fancy girls, in their fancy dresses and lipstick, laughing and dancing. Should you stop them? I can't stop them. But you do, don't you? And they can't laugh and they can't dance anymore. You've got to stop, or they'll take you away from me. I will never, ever, let them take you away from me. You're mine now forever. And, I'm so happy. "

This film is my childhood favorite. It still looks very good. I don't know if it's comedy or horror film. What ever it is... it is the best christmas movie of all time!



"You do with mogwai what your society... has done with all of nature's gifts. You do not understand."

David Hess is completely fucked up! He always plays those maniac characters. He's performance in this film is so good. I just love when he let that maniac come outside. Oh... yes! This movie contains a very good plot too. The ending twist is quite easy to figure, but it's still very good one.


"I've never been to confession, and for curious people, who have a knife in their hand, I feel only pitty!"

Romero's Day of the Dead is bit underrated. Yes, it has some bad acting. But it's post-apocalyptic atmosphere is very good. Efects are perfect!



"Come on, Bub! Come on, ya pus-brain bag of shit! Ya wanna learn how to shoot, Bub? I'll teach ya how to shoot!"

Best one of the Star Wars saga. Works very well. It's plot is great and I think that it's only good that Lucas droped out off the director's chair.



"The force is with you, young Skywalker, but you are not a Jedi yet."

I have to admit that I like this Indy-movie most. The epic strory contains amazing father-son-relationship. Connery and Ford are so good in those parts. Film also have very powerful ending that makes you beg more... Then we get more and IT WAS FUCKING HORRIBLE!

Have to say that this should been the last film in this saga. It's in the title LAST CRUSADE.



" I suddenly remembered my Charlemagne. Let my armies be the rocks and the trees and the birds in the sky..."

Who you gonna call? to Bill Murray! He's the man. Effects are also amazing. Head of a time I would say. And this movie repecents my childhood.



"We've been going about this all wrong. This Mr. Stay Puft's okay! He's a sailor, he's in New York; we get this guy laid, we won't have any trouble!"

Almost a funny remake of the firt one. Plot is very simple. Just the way I like it. Campbell's performance is kind a weird and funny same time. It's not that scary than The Evil Dead, and that is the biggest minus. Still think this one is the grandmother of splatter films.



"Groovy."

Made before Evil Dead II. Yes this is one of the first splatters, but not so gory that Evil Dead II. I have most fun watching this film over and over again. Mostly because of Jeffrey Combs restless performance as Herbert West.



"Who's going to believe a talking head? Get a job in a sideshow."

Better known as pro-wrestler, Roddy Piper still is the right man to play leading role in this film. Carpenter's directing is good as always. Piper's oneliners are the salt of the film. This movie also contains the most ridiculous fight of the film making history.



"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum."

One of the Big Arnold's finest works. Predator just is a cool alien movie. I can watch this many times.



"You're one... *ugly* motherfucker!"

RoboCop is unlike any other cop film. It's brutal, futuristic and also dramatic story. Villains are so cool. They repecents the 80's style very well. Can't forget that Peter Weller is amazing in the title role.



"Dead or alive, you're coming with me."

Carpenter's post-apocalyptic vision is one of the finest. Kurt Russell's performance in a leading role is perfect.


"The name's Plissken!"

Brian DePalma's "remake" of the classic. It's notting like the origal. It's more like 80's style crime movie. Very good musics and Pacino in role of his life.



"You wanna fuck with me? Okay. You wanna play rough? Okay. Say hello to my little friend!"

Cronenberg's fuck up-movie. Effects are so over the top, you just have to love them. Still it has some society message.



"Television is reality, and reality is less than television."

Yet another Lucas's story. I already told that Last Crusade is my favorite. Lost Ark is also an epic story and way better than Temple of Doom.



"You want to talk to God? Let's go see him together, I've got nothing better to do."

Lot better vampire film than Lost Boys. Both have same kind of style. Still this one is much better.



"Caleb, those people back there, they wasn't normal. Normal folks, they don't spit out bullets when you shoot 'em, no sir."

Very realistic portrait of one of the most notourius serial killers of our time. Michel Rooker is so creepy in title role. He's almost faceless killer, who has no soul or moral.



"Guns are easy to get... I can make a phone call and get a gun. Anybody can get a gun, Otis."

This is much more than gore fest. Hellraiser is ambitious film about lost love and going beyond that.



"The box. You opened it. We came."

One of the Best Stephen King films. Think Pet Sematary is bit underrated. It has a creepy atmosphere and it also contains the very best child acting in film making history.

The real reason why I rank this so high is my childhood. I love this movie when I was a little boy. Now I'm bigger and I still love it.



"Sometimes dead is better."

Terry Gilliam always brings something weird to the silver screen. This one is maybe the weirdest movie of he's career. That's not bad thing, I rather think it's a good thing.



"Mistakes? We don't make mistakes."

Lucio Fulci's The Beyond looks cheap, but it's still very grizly and haunting vision. In the end, it's start to get too messy. There is simple too much going on in a same time. Still it's Fulci's roller coasting careers best work.



"And you will face the sea of darkness, and all therein that may be explored."

Why everybody hate Kevin Costner so much? It's some kind of thing that people just do. I don't like him very much, but still I thin there is many actor who can't better than him. In this Brian DePalma's classic film he does a great job. I consider that this is he's best role ever. More or less Connery still steal the show. Think that Constner and Connery are quite good duo.



"You just fulfilled the first rule of law enforcement: make sure when your shift is over you go home alive. Here endeth the lesson."

One of my childhood favorites. I have seen this film way to many times. Still I wanna watch it over and over again.



"Jesus, George, it was a wonder I was even born."

Sergio Leone's last picture is very touching and epic story of friedship. It's also a movie with great actors. Films outfit is almost perfect.



"This country's still growing up. Certain diseases, you're better off having when you're still young."

This is the film that represent the words action movie. Action is great and villains are so bad asses.



"Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker."

Sequel to my childhood favorite. This time they are in future and try to get back to the present. When I was a kid I thik that future was so cool. It still is, but it should be here soon.



"Oh, and Marty, be careful around that Griff character. He's got a few short circuits in his bionic implants."

Roger Rabbit is also one of my favorites from childhood. Animation and live action work together very well. It's awsome to see how this movie never get old.



"Toons. Gets 'em every time"

One of the finest in Giallo genre. Plot is kind of stupid and doesn't make much sense. In the end it doesn't make any more sense. But it's awsome visual festial that only Argento can bring to audience. Effects and visual style are most perfect in film history.

He had broken the most deep-rooted taboo, and found not guilt, not anxiety or fear, but freedom. Lamberti Bava's best movie is very good and entertaining film. It brings very good effects and funny story alive.



"There's some kind of madman loose in here!"

Another werewolf film and also another Joe Dante's film. Dante's mix of great effects, humor and horror is the second best in werewolf genre. I thin The Howling and American Werewolf in London are the two best werewolf films in film makinig history.



"I'm gonna give you a piece of my mind. I trusted you, Karen"

Most notorious giallo in history. Fulci's graphic violence against women made worlds feminists rebellion to this film. I contains some bad acting and plot is against women, but still I love Fulci's style to make movies. Also the ending is pretty good.



"But you won't understand me, you'll never understand me! You're too stupid! Quack! Quack! Quack!"

Do you like Hitchcock? Palma does. This film is also very giallo like. Story is good and ending is kind of surprising.
