Sex & Zen II (1996)

Sex and Zen II follows the lustful progress of a wealthy Squire Sai Moon Kin (Elvis Tsui) who has one obsession: which is to bed more women than any other man in history. However, although he is proud of his own sexual prowess, he is extremely strict with his own daughter (Loletta Lee). When she is sent away to study, he has her disguised as a man and fitted with a special chastity device to protect her from men like himself. However, gender was not something that could be interchangeable. For example, she was unable to participate in the school's informal 'swordplay' contest, where male students really got to test each others' manhood and 'shoot their shot' so to speak.

4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (Romanian: 4 luni, 3 săptămâni și 2 zile) is a 2007 Romanian art film with drama and thriller elements, written and directed by Cristian Mungiu and starring Anamaria Marinca, Laura Vasiliu, and Vlad Ivanov. The film is set in Communist Romania in the final years of the Nicolae Ceaușescu era. It tells the story of two students, roommates in a university dormitory, who try to procure an illegal abortion. Inspired by an anecdote from the period and the general social historic context, it depicts the loyalty of the two friends and the struggles they face.

Romanian Communist Party General Secretary Nicolae Ceaușescu enacted the abortion law Decree 770 in 1966 in order to increase the birth rates in the country. The law was not based on any religious opposition to abortion, but on the government's authority and control over its citizens.

During the years of Decree 770, the only available abortion methods, all illegal, could prove fatal to women, causing thousands of deaths. According to Mungiu's notes he shared with the press, the death toll was 500,000. Gradea cited a conservative 10,000 estimate.

The Feud of Two Brothers is a 1986 TV drama series produced by Hong Kong Television Broadcasting Co Ltd., starring Alex Man and Carol Cheng, and co-starring Carina Lau, Lawrence Ng and Kathy Chow. The Singaporean media once selected it as among the top ten classic Chinese TV dramas in the 20th century out of its list of a hundred.

Alex Man caused a sensation in the Asian world with his superb acting skills in the show, and successfully broke through the stalemate of the sluggish ratings of many TVB TV productions at that time, thus establishing his status as the leading heavyweight actor of TVB from the late 1980s to the early 1990s.

Having served thirteen years in jail for slaying a family in cold blood, prisoner Tse Man Mo (Adam Cheng) is finally proved innocent and released. With his freedom back, Mo comes face to face with the hard facts of life: his wife Cindy (Chan Sau Chu) is married to the inspector who framed him into prison; his daughter Tse Hoi Sum (Lee Lai Yui) has become a juvenile delinquent; and his son Tse Ping On (Roger Kwok) has become an outcast. And his greatest enemy, Luk Gwok Wing (Kenneth Tsang), the real murderer, has become an influential businessman. Mo swears to make Wing pay, but Wing is quicker to make his defense. He sends his men to rape Mo’s girlfriend, Chan Yuk Ying (Eugina Lau). Mo is thus more determined to make Wing suffer…

The Final Verdict was a welcome nugget of gold for TVB, who needed a hit during a time when the station had been mired in a sea of mediocrity since 1986. There was plenty of dramatic tension involved, and featured career-defining performances from Adam Cheng, Kenneth Tsang and Kwok Fung. It later became the highest-rated show for the tv channel in 1988.

Cracker (1993)

"I drink too much, I smoke too much, I gamble too much. I am too much." So says criminal psychologist Eddie `Fitz' Fitzgerald (Robbie Coltrane), but in his self-analysis he left out "brilliant" and "cagey," two qualities he uses to aid the police in Manchester, England, profile and catch killers. His cerebral approach is supported by DS Jane Penhaligon (Geraldine Somerville), who also happens to be Fitz's love interest, and clashes with the old-style aggressive policing of DS Jimmy Beck (Lorcan Cranitch).

Ranma ½ (1989)

Ranma ½ is a 1989 anime adaptation of the popular Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi.

The story revolves around a very happy, playful and fun-loving 16-year-old boy named Ranma Saotome who was trained from early childhood in martial arts. As a result of an accident during a training journey, he is cursed to become a girl when splashed with cold water, but hot water will change him back into a boy.

Ranma ½ had a comedic formula and a gender-swapping main character, who often willfully changes into a girl to advance his goals. Other characters, howwever, who have acquired this unique ability to shapeshift tend to exploit it for otherwise nefarious ends.

Eurotrash (1993)

Let two devil-may-care Frenchmen take you gently by the hand and lead you into a surreal alternative world of weird wonders, celebrity interviews, sexy supermodels – and more smut than you can shake a stick at! Hosted by everyone's favourite Gallic charmers, Antoine de Caunes and Jean-Paul Gaultier, Eurotrash reigned supreme for over a decade and still sends a shiver down the spines of prudes and people of a nervous disposition to this day!

The show celebrates the bold, the brazen and the gloriously gratuitous. Often featuring people in spaces where they are free to explore their inner kinks and fetishes, whilst also acknowledging that such delusions and fantasies are to be kept in check and not spilled out to cause trouble in the real world.
