Then he would drop down from a standing start and balance on his thumbs and forefingers to do 100 pushups very fast.

Joe Lewis:
The 2 fingers push ups didn't impress me because he weighed 138 pounds when I was working with him. I used to do bodyguard for some Arabs, and one Iraqi bodyguard was over 200 pounds and he could do a one finger push up. What impressed me the most was that he took a 75 pound barbell, lifted it to his chest, from a standing position, and slowly extended it in front of him, elbows locked out, and held it for 15 seconds or more. Try that sometime and you'll understand why that's not only impressive, but extremely impressive.

While in prison, Bronson developed a fitness regime and in 2008 claimed he could still do 132 press-ups in 60 seconds.

Stuff I heard:
- Can bend steel bars.
- Picked up a full-size fridge overhead
- Once punched an inmate and knocked most of his front teeth out.
I'm the king of the press-ups and the sit-ups. I've already said I once did 25 press-ups with two men on my back, and I've squatted with three men on my shoulders! I've been making prison fitness records for as long as I can remember. Show me another man โ a man half my age โ who can pick up a full-size snooker table. I can. Show me another guy who can rip out 1,727 press-ups in an hour. I can ... I once went eight years without using weights, then I went into a gym and bench pressed 300lb ten times. I'm 5ft 11in, I weigh 220lb and I feel as strong as did when I was 21 ... There's something deep inside me that pushes me on. I'm a solitary fitness survivor.โโWriting in 2000, Bronson describes the outcome of years of training in the confined spaces in prison.
Despite being an OAP I can do 94 press-ups in 30 seconds.
The SAS have to do 60 press-ups in 60 seconds so I smash that in half the time.
I have self-belief, stamina, posture.

1956 (age 42) โ Set what was claimed as a world record of 1,033 push-ups in 23 minutes on You Asked For It, a television program hosted by Art Baker.
1959 (age 45) โ Did 1,000 push ups and 1,000 chin-ups in 1 hour, 22 minutes, to promote The Jack LaLanne Show going nationwide. LaLanne said this was the most difficult of his stunts, but only because the skin on his hands started ripping off during the chin-ups. He felt he couldn't stop, because it would be seen as a public failure.

Almost everyday he even took part in a competition in the US where he set a record for doing push-ups for 5 hours non-stop. By the time he was 8 he was doing up to 5,000 push-ups on a regular basis as in everyday.

Guinness World Record Holder of "Most One-Finger Push Ups in 30 Seconds": 41. (Not the best form)
On February 24, 2010 he broke the world record for the number of 90-degree push-ups, which is an exercise where push-ups are performed without letting your feet touch the ground. Stroe managed 20 90-degree push-ups, beating his previous record of 12, live on Romanian TV. By 2011, Giuliano could do up to 40 90-degree push-ups.
Love performing press-ups. It's my favourite exercise to do besides running/jogging. Use to be able to bang out a 100 in a row consistently in perfect form, to the point where I can fit that amount into my breaks at work. Neglect though, has caused me to drop off a little. Eventually, I will get back to my former fitness.
120 in a row is my max. I can't recall exactly what my max in a day was, although I believe the minimum was 1200, could even be 2000. A long way from what these freaks of nature are capable of. I mean, even balancing yourself on a finger and a thumb with one arm is an achievement in itself, let alone having the ability to push with it. The guy inspired me though along with Bronson to attain the level that I want. Now, I don't really have many problems moving heavy shit around anymore.
Might even be army-fit too, because I can run for long periods without getting tired. I had very good stamina and can shrug off long shifts as if they were nothing while others were dead beat at the end of it. I was one of the most athletic boys at school after all.
The beauty of this exercise, also, is that you can do it anywhere. No need for expensive equipment. All that's required is a floor, your arms and a bit of willpower and you're set on becoming the strongest in your area. :)
