Is it my imagination, or at one point of this dance sequence, does Travolta actually bust a few moves of the Bat-toosi?

After watching this stage to silverscreen adaptation of 50's style highschool romance, I couldn't help but notice that Travolta tended to look a tad bit more mature than the teenage student that he was supposed to be portraying. Maybe that's because older actors take the presseure, and they throw away conventionality, belongs to yesterday.
Because this movie is the word.
