House M.D. (2004)

Day 09 - Best scene/episode ever

"Broken", in which House underwent rehab for his vicodin addiction (and which should have lasted an entire season instead of one extended episode)

Actually this is just my favorite episode of THIS SHOW. Every show I enjoy watching has at least one episode that's my favorite, and were I to limit this to scenes I'd be stuck forever trying to determine which bit from Monty Python's Flying Circus is my favorite. So here I went with a simpler choice.

I've only seen the pilot episode, and it was complete crap. Unsurprisingly, after it aired the series was cancelled. Why it's picked up a devoted following since I have no idea.

I've watched the first 2 seasons at least 4 times since I've had them on DVD. If you go by episodes, I've also seen ones from Invader Zim, Frisky Dingo, Batman the Animated Series, Animaniacs, and tons of the Looney Tunes cartoons too many times to count.

I've only watched a handful of mini-series, and can't remember enough about them to honestly call one my favorite. That's probably due to my watching them mostly during the 80s, and once I got to high school I quit caring about short-run series. I had better things to do with my time, and have ever since. So instead I chose a movie, and I'll admit I didn't watch many made-for-TV-movies after the early 90s either.

Otherwise this spot could be held by anyone from Fran Drescher's nanny to everyone on Dharma and Greg or Will and Grace or Friends or Gilmore Girls or any number of other crappy shows I've had the misfortune to see any part of.
