Inspiringly evil in a maniacal and chilling way, The Joker is not only the greatest threat to society but he does it with style.
Seaworth's rating:

Battle Royale (2000)
Portrayed by Masanobu Ando.

Volunteering for a government legislated kill fest certainly does make you wonder whats up with this guy. Kiriyama's silent and ruthless approach to the BR Act certainly made him a dangerous foe on the deserted island of death.
Seaworth's rating:

The Matrix (1999)
Portrayed by Hugo Weaving.

The perfect opposite to The One. He doesn't value human life and makes a mockery of individuality by cloning himself onto any template in his reach. Not a flutter of feeling or moment of mercy during his entire role. Weaving did him justice.
Seaworth's rating:

Schindler's List (1993)
Portrayed by Ralph Fiennes.

He existed but Fiennes performance brings up a fantastic depiction of Göth. When you're in charge of a concentration camp and murder labourers at will, he is the epitome of evil of the time! I will always remember the joy on his face at the suffering of others.
Seaworth's rating:

Star Wars (1977)
Portrayed by David Prowse and Voiced by James Earl Jones.

The voice, the stature and the trepidation of this creation has been imprinted onto the lives of millions. Imagine if this guy walked into the room, you would shit yourself.
Seaworth's rating:

Seven (1995)
Portrayed by ??????.
Gluttony. Greed. Sloth. Pride. Lust. Envy. Wrath. Its quite obvious to say that JD's overal plan was original and well executed. Etched down to the last detail, it wasn't ending without his desired result.

Gruesome, terrifying and calculating. How could you not fear this demonic version of the gentleman of crime?

Enemy at the Gates (2001)
Portrayed by Ed Harris.

Stern, cold and utterly efficient. König was brought forth as the only man who could take down a russian hero. He proves that he isn't willing to accept defeat and makes a valiant effort to thwart his foe.
Seaworth's rating:

Pan's Labyrinth (2006)

Facist murderer who seems to have no form of morals. He has moments to redeem himself but always chooses the unethical route.
Seaworth's rating:

Portrayed by Lawrence Makoare.

Although not the primary villain, his legend is known throughout Middle-Earth. He cannot be killed by any man (:-S), he wears a fantastic outfit and has a tragic past to boot!
Seaworth's rating:

Die Hard (1988)
Portrayed by Alan Rickman.

Very suave and cultured, he definitely doesn't fit the bill as a stereotypical villain. However, Hans is a ruthless killer and efficient machiavelian.
Seaworth's rating:

Sexy Beast (2000)

He is absolutely out of his mind! He goes to extreme lengths to get what he wants and does it in the most psychotic manner. Scary shit!

Nothing beats a professional hitman without a waver of doubt in his capabilities. One of the worst people to get on the wrong side of!

King Arthur (2004)

Barbaric and taciturn, the Saxon King has nothing on his mind but the domination of the British Isles. His plight is made even more of a challenge when he finally meets his match in Artorius, much to his joy.

The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
Hannibal Lector

Predator (1987)
The Predator

Men in Black (1997)
Edgar Bug
Portrayed by Vincent D'Onofrio
The cockroach in man's clothing. Although vastly a comedy portrayal as I laughed at almost all of his speaking scenes. Underneath lies a destructive menace that is selfish enough to force the extinction of another species.

While solely based on instinct, I'm pretty sure this creature's method of culling prey is enough to make your eyes water and insides boil. Its subtle and underhanded tactics of taking a new form make it a horror to face.
Opposition: The Inhabitants of Antarctica
Portrayed by Various.

A dog & puppy killer. He would be in the same circle of hell as Cruella! Varnick's homely and almost charming manner is what creates such a successful villain complex.

***WARNING!*** SPOILERS!!!!!
Maybe its just me but whenever I think of my favourite characters, the majority of them fall into the "Villain" bracket. After years of seeing myself as the villain of my own life, I can just feel more centred by watching characters that go way beyond my own concept of villainy.
