Today We Are All Demons - Combichrist
My ex used to listen Combichrist a lot. But that was a few years older stuff than this. And I actually don't have anything specific to say about this. It works time to time, but when an album is pretty much the same industrial music without any variability, it gets too boring. And this was way to too long album for that.

Ace of Spades - Motorhead
I was drinking beer while listening to this. I also watched videos from Youtube where people do stupid shit with motorcycles. Only thing I can say about this:
"ACE OF SPADES ACE OF SPADES ACE OF SPADES"
"ACE OF SPADES ACE OF SPADES ACE OF SPADES"

Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
I could give this more actually. I should listen it more first, and I'm actually pretty new listener what comes to Pink Floyd. Great album anyways.

TEN$ION - Die Antwoord
I decided to start this project with this. I've heard few songs from this many times, when I've been drinking with my friends. There's always that one who puts Die Antwoord to play. Usually the song is I Fink U Freeky or Fatty Boom Boom. But now I've heard the whole album and it is actually suprisingly good. Not a masterpiece but it works. Die Antwoord has a memorable style (pretty much one reason is their music videos) and the album is full of catchy songs, that makes you dance a little bit.
I actually don't like the interlude and skit-parts so that's why I can't give this a better rating than ***½. I also thought I would get irritated because of the high pitch vocals from Yo-Landi Visser, but it actually works in their style.
So this is a good album, and I can listen the best hits over and over.

NOT Correct Album (2012)
America's rap genre is actually too unknown for me, and I really don't know why. Maybe I've been stuck to finnish rap music for so long time, that I've forgotten this kinda stuff (besides Yelawolf and Tyler the Creator). And I can actually thank VierasTalo for giving this to me. Kendrick Lamar's album was really enjoyable from start to end. Whole album is full of great songs. I don't have that much to say about lyrics now though, but after several times listening this, I think I have to check it out more. Very enjoyable album.

Vainajan Muotokuva - Eleanoora Rosenholm
This was kinda delightful. Pretty much because this band is from my hometown, Pori. In the 80's, from this town came 3 bands that I would call The Satan's Triangle. This triangle includes the most known bands from Pori: Yö, Mamba and Dingo. Somehow those bands are way too famous in this country, and pretty much the shittiest (especially Mamba). So that is why it's very nice to hear something else from this town than shit.
This kinda music is not that familiar to me, so I was really suprised how much I enjoyed Eleonoora Rosenholm's music. Pretty much different that I usually listen. Really, really catchy music and I really need more time to say something about the lyrics. But yeah, really big suprise for me. Great album which I could give more than 4 stars.

My Cute Fiend Sweet Princess - Kimya Dawson
I actually didn't hate Kimya Dawson as much as fellow user Tumppi, but I really didn't care about this. One of the reasons is I don't like Kimya's voice at all. Also the album is pretty much too similar musically. Girl and acoustic guitar from start to finish pretty much, and it gets too boring for me. Even if the lyrics would work, but musical part does not get to me. Sorry VierasTalo, not my thing.
Stefa's rating:
Aims - Vienna Teng
I don't have anything good to say about this. I've never really liked this kind of pop music and I really got bored by this. I was so bored that I just stopped caring after the first half. Sorry but I don't have anything to say, shitty pop music for my taste.
Stefa's rating:
It is kinda fun to listen the soundtrack of the movie first before watching the movie itself. And I also think it would work better with the movie. But gladly this is also enjoyable as its own. Great ambient music that has kinda cool synth effects in it, which reminds me more of the 80's soundtracks somehow (just like Drive for example, that has that same kinda retro feeling in it). The atmosphere in the album is kinda creepy. It suppose to be of course, because it is a soundtrack to a horror movie after all. I kinda like that this album ends with a really catchy synth pop song with a female vocalist. Which again, reminds me about Drive's amazing soundtrack.
Maybe I should watch the movie someday, even though I'm not that much of fan of the horror genre.

Far - Regina Spektor
I listened this like a few weeks ago and I don't have anything to say. Too much like Vienna Teng. Not my thing.
Stefa's rating:
Pure Heroine - Lorde
I listened this on a sundayhangover and it worked pretty well on my state of mind. I'm suprised about that. I actually don't have anything else to say. This had the potential to be even better but the biggest problem is the lenght. It is too long to be that enjoyable.
Stefa's rating:
The Black Rider - Tom Waits
Someone said to me this is pretty much the worst way to get to know Tom Waits's music. And I think I can understand that. The album sounds like Tom Waits had a one bottle of whiskey and after that started to make music. I really don't know what I think of this album. It was really really interesting I must say that, but at the same time very confusing. I have to pass this on ratings. Maybe I try it again some day, but now I can't say anything.
