The things that makes the book better than the movie are the brain part and having Clarice join Hannibal rather than try to arrest him. The brain part is wonderfully detailed in the book.

The book is amazing. When I first heard that there would be a movie based on it, I was curious, but I didn't think that it would translate well to film. The movie is good, but there are some books that just plain don't work as well as movies.
