The Amazing Bulk (2012) (2012)
What do you get when you mix the Incredible Hulk with Grimace of McDonald's fame? You get the Amazing Bulk! Want to guess which Marvel character of which he is (almost) a blatant ripoff?
It looked at first like one of those movies that is so shitty that it is hilarious. Alas, it turned out to be merely shitty.

Brain on Fire (2017)
Brain on Fire is certainly much better than the average Hollywood film. It is an interesting medical mystery.
At times I expected Dr. House to show up.

Trippy in a good way! It is one of those films in which realism and fantasy blend into a spectacular mindfuck. The cast is amazing - Adam Driver, Jonathan Pryce and Joana Ribeiro (WooHoo!).

Borderland (2007)
Borderland is loosely based on the true story of an American student who was abducted in Mexico and ultimately sacrificed by a cult that practiced a religion called Palo Mayombe. I'm pretty sure you can put the emphasis on loosely based. Of course, if it were too realistic, Borderaland would not be enjoyable at all. What more can I say except they did a damn good job.

Brightburn (2019)
Brightburn starts with a great idea - what if there were an evil version of Superman? (Well, it was already done - remember Zod?) Brightburn is the origin story of an evil Superman. It's a damn good movie that tops most Marvel movies.
ChihuahuaDaddy's rating:

It started with an interesting concept - cannibals with human livestock on their farm. Unfortunately, this movie turned out to be fucking boring.
In the right hands, this would make an amazing movie. Maybe Eli Roth can remake it. Or even better - the minds behind the original Martyrs!

GWAR: Phallus in Wonderland (1992)
One of those trippy movies. Those who are familiar with Gwar know what to expect! Oderus Urungus, Gwar's lead singer, loses his verga (the "Cuttlefish of Cthulhu") in a fight. The penis seems to have a mind of its own.
There are funny parts, but it turned out to be not as good as I expected. The Gwar animated short film on YouTube is much better - go to YouTube and watch it for some laughs!

The Whip and the Body (1963)
The title is the Whip and the Body, so there is a clue about what to expect. Well, there is more than BDSM, but not much more. Before he was Scaramanga, Christopher Lee starred in this fucked up movie as Kurt - the dude with the whip. A lot of the movie is spent just waiting for something to happen. Despite the frequent boredoom, this film is one of the best BDSM stories ever!
