TOO SOON? - Now that "Awards Season" has officially come and gone, now it's time for my annual edition of my ever popular on this website. For those of you who are new and haven't seen my previous lists I'll explain the rules in a moment here. For those of you whom have stuck by me since the beginning I understand it's a little early to be doing this so by all means - take your time - comes back here when you've had some time to get around to seeing some of what 2013 had to offer. You can also reserve choices for a later date while still submitting a few up front if you want. But for those of you who are angry now! - Here you go, enjoy:

Most of you should all be fairly familiar with the concept, but just encase here's the concept. Like any typical movie-lover/cinephile/or someone who just plain hates the Oscars, you're probably like me in that you feel half the time the Oscars seriously pick the wrong choices, play it safe, kiss ass, or are hopelessly snobby when it comes to picking Best Picture of the year. I know what movies "I" would pick throughout the years, but I mainly started these POLL lists cause I was curious to know what the MAJORITY had to say about Oscar's choice? -Consider this free venting ground. Anyone who's pissed off by what movie won this year - here's your chance to offer your "counter" suggestion!

The rules are pretty simple: Everyone gets "1" point per pick, can only pick "1" selection for what movie (of the given choices) they think should have won Best Picture. You can pick any one you want and the one with the most votes takes the top spot. It'll either confirm the Academy's choice or shove a Big Fat Middle Finger in their face!!! -However, most years (typically) each movie fan's personal (true) choice for "Movie of the Year", rarely even gets nominated by the snooty Academy by the end of the year, so listed below will be the Alternative Selections portion of the list where participants will be allowed "1" point for a total number of 'alternative' movies, equal to the amount of nominees the Academy has for the year - this year it's 9, that you feel were ultimately DISSED by the Academy, and deserve WAY MORE to be up there instead of what they chose?!

So hopefully that clears up the rules. You get one choice for the 'given nominees' - and nine extra picks for 'alternatives'. While you're at it don't forget to vote on this list and feel free to write any random comments unrelated to participation in the comments below if you feel like it. -A DISCLAIMER guys, I'm going through some difficult crap in my personal life at the present moment so I will try to keep up with this one as best I can but please be patient though encase I don't respond to your votes right away. I appreciate everyone's help, participation, and overall enjoyment of these annuals POLL lists I put out - seriously thank you:D I didn't really think at first that any of these were really gonna catch on?

Also, if I can just encourage those of you who have the time, don't forget to participate in some of the previous lists (of which the links are provided below) to enter your picks for years in the past. Common isn't there anyone who thinks "the Godfather" was overrated, or that "Citizen Kane" should have beat "How Green was My Valley"? Be sure to give them a look when y'all get the chance!
