Thor: The Dark World (2013)
but behind the scenes with the giant at the beginning and quite
surprising ending, for me it wasn't wow.
But I love to look at Chris Hemsworth :D
Villiana's rating:
but I don't bought and I don't regret it now. This is a subject totally
not my taste, demons, vampires, werewolves, I'm sick of this.
The usual cinema for a teenager. Awful main character and awful clothes.
I rate this film as average, because even though the subject
there was some cool action.
Villiana's rating:
I, Frankenstein (2014)
but I thought it would at least not bad. And, unfortunately,
the whole turned out to be bullshit. The whole war between demons
and gargoyles was lame and too much fire for me. I love you Aaron Eckhart,
but it wasn't a continuation of Frankenstein,
which I wanted to see, or remember.
Villiana's rating:
Up (2009)
I love this animation. Great, touching story, amazing adventure,
and that old man is insane :D (in a good way). I like to watch it again
and again, so I'm very happy that my son liked this movie
and I can go back to it often.
Villiana's rating:
Monster House (2006)
The entire first half of this movie is really great and fun, but then
it seems to me that film and the whole story much disappointing.
Villiana's rating:
Never Let Me Go (2010)
a bit better than the book. For sure I felt more emotion
between the characters. This is a definite plus for the movie.
The whole story is a bit odd, but certainly interesting,
quite unusual and definitely sad. Carey Mulligan was so amazing in this.
Villiana's rating:
the book. Everything has happened far too quickly, everything
was playable, it wasn't there for me connection between Henry and Clare.
Someone who hasn't read the book may feel lost in time and don't understand
this love. I've run multiple threads of Clare youth, who explained
her attachment to Henry. Overall it wasn't bad.
But as in most cases the book wins.
Villiana's rating:
Simple, alteration, doesn't force specifically to think, just watch
and having fun. This movie was definitely that. Maybe it wasn't great,
but it was definitely a lot of action, it was surprising,
radiated good humor and made it was a great Saturday evening.
Villiana's rating:
Lord of the Flies (1990)
I saw this movie when I was a kid and then made a big impression on me.
Now it was no longer such a paralyzing, but I don't change my assessment.
I still think it is a good screen version of book, like the book
a little disappointing ending, I'd really like to know what was
going on with these boys.
Villiana's rating:
The Lone Ranger (2013)
Just kidding... Johnny Depp was also good. I thought from the beginning
that he is very similar to the role he played in Pirates of the Caribbean,
which I don't like, but I can say that in this edition I like him.
Generally speaking, enjoyable, entertaining edition of the Wild West,
a lot of exaggerated action, but I think it worth a look.
Villiana's rating:
The Five-Year Engagement (2012)
like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but the film turned out to be quite decent.
I even laughed a few times, so I guess it wasn't so bad :D
Villiana's rating:
Days of Thunder (1990)
on TV and I decided to try. It was not bad, definitely felt the chemistry
between Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. Racing scenes were also pretty
cool. I don't know why, but when Tom was young irritated me so badly...
Villiana's rating:
RoboCop (2014)
movie when I was young and I really was in love with RoboCop.
RoboCop from the 80s I consider classic, he had a soul. In this film
I haven't felt. Maybe it's because then the topic was fresh and interesting,
now seems to be secondary and mainly implemented with a focus on
great special effects. As for me, lacked a bit of content and feelings.
Villiana's rating:
Platoon (1986)
And I have to admit that it was really in my taste. Great acting,
very expressive characters, electrifying music. I really like it.
Villiana's rating:
but despite the long introduction, I don't met the characters,
or not particularly liked them. Great part of Vietnam, later it was again
slow and too much waiting for a solution. I understand the whole message
of this film, I understand personal tragedies, I try to occasionally
watch movies in this topic, but considering my origins and what was close
to me throughout life, greater emotional triggers in me the II WW.
Vietnam Theme probably always remain a stranger to me. I rate this film
as not bad. I think that one and a half hour would be enough
to show the whole story.
Villiana's rating:
Gilda (1946)
I'm not convinced of singing and dancing Rita Hayworth, but her face
is absolutely stunning. I knew her before only with The Shawshank Redemption
and I have to admit that it was nice to see this scene in the original.
