Watched in theaters. I had high expectations having seen Taken, and didn't disappoint me at all! I love it. I think I really like to watch Neeson playing the tough guy!

RED (2010)
I thought why I hadn't seen it before? Willis, Freeman and Malkovich in an action movie? Can not go wrong, is it? Actually, I liked it a lot.

Gaby's rating:

Toy Story 3 (2010)
Really liked it. I cried at the end, very emotional. And the part when they almost die in the garbage disposal it was pretty scary, that's not good for kids!! ;)

Gaby's rating:

The King's Speech (2010)
I watched because all the promotion it had, then won the Oscar, I like Colin Firth, and I heard a lot of good critics of his job. And it was just... brilliant!

Gaby's rating:

Twilight (2008)
I watched because someone lend me the DVD. I was reluctant to watch it, and I had a point! No... I didn't like it at all.

This person lend me the other two of the saga, but... why?

Gaby's rating:

Black Swan (2010)
Happened something similar to The King's Speech. But I'm not so familiar with Portman's career, and I had a really good surprise, she was amazing in this role.

Gaby's rating:

Love & Other Drugs (2010)
It seems another romantic comedy, but it isn't. The characters do not give themselves easily to a typical love story, because they bump all the time with reality, where all is not roses.

Unstoppable (2010)
Washington was solid, and Pine the typical rookie that thinks he knows everything. Based in true events, the end is pretty predictable, but as an action movie it's really good.

Crank (2006)
Not one of my favorites movies of Statham. Dind't like it so much, and I'm not planning to see the second part.

The Expendables (2010)
Bruce Willis made an appearance, so I have to watch it ;) Actually I was attracted for all the action cast, and want to give another chance to Statham (after the previous item). The plot is not very elaborate but it's a pretty decent action movie.

The Social Network (2010)
Too much promoted and unlike what happened with Th King's Speech, it didn't impress me at all. I mean, it was a good movie, but just another biographical movie.

Eat Pray Love (2010)
Death at a Funeral (2007)
This movie was recommended to me so badly, that I finally gave up and watched. It's really crazy and funny. A good Britain comedy.

Death at a Funeral (2010)
And right after watched the original I found out that there was an American remake. Caught my attention so I watched...I would have liked it more if I hadn't seen the Britain version before.

The Fighter (2010)
I wanted to see this new Bale's transformation. The movie it's not great, but his performance is impeccable.

Just Go with It (2011)
A romantic comedy with Adam Sandler surrounded by beautiful women, that's a dream... for him. I like her, but I just don't see Sandler in this kind of movies.

I loved the little girl, Bailee Madison.

The Switch (2010)
To erase the Sandler image, I saw this one. Tender, a little predictable, liked Bateman performance.

Alice in Wonderland (2010)
I was really curious about this film, I grew up with Lewis Carrol original story and at first I was a little lost. I love the Burton's visuals, his hands are all over the film. I liked Bonham-Carter performance, but Hatthaway not so much.
As a Burton's version it's what you expect.

Mulholland Drive (2001)
This one was also highly recommended.
I'm just going to say that I didn't like it in any way.

To justify my opinion I should write a whole review, and this is not the place.

The Ghost Writer (2010)
I liked it, it was a little slow at some point, but it's a good movie, and like McGregor performance. The end was a little unexpected!

American Psycho (2000)
Yeah, I know, I saw it just last month! It's a new classic and I don't know why I dind't watch it before.
I liked it, I liked Bale, I never saw him in this kind of role and he really surprised me.

The Mechanic (2011)
Let's say it's a nice action movie, it's the perfect role for Statham. I like Ben Foster's role. Like Sutherland's small appearance. I was surprised in the end, I didn't see it coming.

The Adjustment Bureau (2011)
I like it. It was a little slow and confusing in some moments, but I enjoyed it. I liked the Damon-Blunt couple.

Source Code (2011)
Since I heard about this movie, I wanted to watch it. I was intrigued about how they would resolve the end, and I liked it. It's an entertaining movie.

Morning Glory (2010)
I like Rachel MacAdams, and there were mood for something light. It's a nice comedy, and I liked Ford´s perfomance: you spend the whole movie trying to punch him in the face and you end up feeling sorry for him.

Limitless (2011)
I watched it because De Niro was in it, I'm not a big Cooper's. It was entertaining, not a great movie but entertaining.
Cooper was one of the producers, maybe an average actor like him paid just to be able to humillate the great De Niro at the end!LOL

I watched it despite all bad reviews I read, and why? because Johnny Depp was on it... and obviously that wasn't enough. There were no chemistry between them at all! She was like a ghost walking in slow motion throughout the whole movie, and he had the most pathetic line ever ("But I'm in love with you") watching her leaving him. The end was good but didn't save the movie.

Hereafter (2010)
The beginning was promising but as the movie progressed I was expecting something to happen. It was a little slow, it wasn't bad but I don't know, I wasn't completely satisfied.

Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
It took me a long time to finally watch this movie. It started as an interesting movie, but maybe I was a little tired or the movie was too slow in some points that I almost fell asleep. The end was both liberating and unsatisfactory.

Watchmen (2009)
Certainly the most bizarre super hero movie I ever seen. I never read the comic so I can judged it that way but I want to watch a superhero movie and instead a saw a bunch of characters with a lot of personal issues.
I didn't hate it but didn't quite convince me.

Blitz (2011)
At the moment to watch an action movie this one was chosen. Statham is a bad ass cop who doesn't take the rules seriously in the pursuit of a cop killer. The plot is not too pretentious, but about an action movie is not a disappointment.

127 Hours (2011)
Slumdog Millionaire (2008)
Always leave this movie for later... and so it took three years to watch it. But I finally did it, and I liked it, is a strong movie with solid performances. I should see it before but it was worth the wait.

X-Men: First Class (2011)
It's an entertaining film, with great fx and action scenes. I was pleased because the film respects the line of the other X-men movies and did not try to reinvent the story.
Love the Wolverine cameo!

Love the Wolverine cameo!

Equilibrium (2002)
I was really curious about this film. Had some Matrix touches in some points, was a little weird but I liked it.
Bale is a perfect cold stone at first, and it's great when you can see his emotions emerge.

The Bank Job (2008)
Please, don't think I have an obsession with this guy, ok? LOL
I heard it was a good movie, with a good robbery plot based on true events.
It was a little predectible but well executed. I liked it.

Oldboy (2003)
I watched this movie because was highly recommended, but I was a little reluctant to it.
For me was a good action movie with a promising plot and a very disconcerting ending, but I didn't see the greatness and magnificence some reviews talks about.

The Lookout (2007)
Another recommended heist movie. At first I dind't know where the movie was going. I couldn't see how the robbery fit in the story.
Is like two different movies, first a drama, then a heist movie... anyway it wasn't so bad.

Assassination Games (2011)
I wanted to watch a Van Damme movie. I was a fan back in the 90's and took a long since the last time I watched one.
I found a more mature Van Damme, not the one who used to kick butts left and right... but equally effective to defeat the bad guys!

Fast Five (2011)
It's not the first one, but was what I expected: a good action movie, with incredible action sequences... it's a good Diesel-Walker return, faster and much more furious.

Following (1998)
First Christopher Nolan featured film. I don't know how I endend watching this work, but I found both strange and interesting. A solid and simple plot with a speechless end.

JCVD (2008)
Wow, I was not prepared for that monologue. I watched it because I read several good critics, talking very well about Van Damme performance.
As I said before, I loved this guy long ago and I was pleasantly surprised.
