To be honest, I actually had no idea what this movie was about but since I have always been a big fan of Joaquin Phoenix, I was quite eager to check it out. Eventually, since I had to keep guessing what the hell was going on at least during the first half, it turned out to be quite fascinating but also slightly frustrating at the same time. No way it is this times Taxi Driver as someboy said, but Phoenix is convincing in whatever he does being violent and tender a la fois. His mama stuff is ok...

"Хорошее музыкальное сопровождение. Интересный стиль повествования. Любопытная тема, которую я бы посмотрел в более раскрытом виде, но в фильме всё приходится додумывать, хотя никаких ребусов нет, всё предельно просто. Смотреть не советую, но мне понравился."
