It chronicles Victoria's ascent to the throne and her romance with Prince Albert. This movie basically tells the story of series 1 of the TV series although in much shorter form. Emily Blunt portrays Victoria much better than Jenna Coleman with Rupert Friend doing very well as Albert along with Miranda Richardson as the Queen's scheming mother.
