In a more picture world, Sandra Bullock would have never received an Academy Award nomination. That fifth slot would have gone to Emily Blunt for her pitch-perfect dewy interpretation of the young Queen Victoria. Vulnerable but sexy, stubborn but still charming, she is scrumptious and deserved to be recognized. (And yes, she is far too attractive to look anything like the real Victoria.)

" Netflix- 1hr. 44min. First Viewing Back-to-Back nights of deeply reserved and dignified British drama really highlight the need for some genuine blood in these things. The Young Victoria doesn't work as well as the former, unfortunately; the cast is great and the movie is superbly constructed, but it feels like the plot is just running through major events rather than giving them the full heft that they should have. Forgoing the politics and society of the time for an okay romance does the film"

This movie basically tells the story of series 1 of the TV series although in much shorter form.
