"First Watched 1/9/2018 Akira Kurosawa brings us a detective story with fantastic performances all around! Plus, it has one of my favorite leads Toshiro Mifune showing that he can play a multitude of roles this one being a green police officer who gets his handgun stolen in post WWII Japan. Speaking of which I love the setting it is great getting a look into the hustle and bustle of life in post war Japan. Also, Takashi Shimura delivers a fantastic performance as well as a senior officer. Har"
